A useful fit for

A short-setting single staff for someone who wants a compact, 46 cm listed packed length and a documented Super Lock twist mechanism. Its 90 cm maximum is a hard planning limit, and it is sold one at a time.

The main tradeoff

The staff tops out at 90 cm and is not a pair. LEKI gives no usable per-staff weight in the examined product evidence; Aergomed material and whether the Micro Basket is in the exact package are not explicit. The listed Micro basket is not evidence of a snow-basket package.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Is SUPER MICRO sold as a pair?

No. LEKI says it is a single pole sold individually, and the U.S. FAQ names Super Micro among its cane products sold as singles. Check quantity before planning a two-pole setup.

Will SUPER MICRO reach a 95 cm setting?

No. The selected U.S. SKU 65320801 is listed at 46–90 cm, so 95 cm is beyond its documented maximum. If you require more reach, compare a model whose exact configuration reaches your independently fitted setting rather than extrapolating this short staff's range.

What does its 46 cm packed figure establish?

The specification table lists 46 cm and nearby feature text rounds that to 18 in. It is a useful catalog comparison, not a measured clearance promise; check your storage opening against the actual staff and confirm the exact offer.

LEKI's SUPER MICRO is a short-range, telescoping single staff. The current U.S. product feed maps the black-anthracite-copper configuration to SKU 65320801, and the manufacturer's page says “single pole” and “sold individually.” LEKI's FAQ lists Super Micro among canes sold as singles. It is therefore not a two-pole set; confirm quantity before building a paired setup around it.

A compact option with a firm 90 cm ceiling

The selected variant, feature text and specification table agree on a 46–90 cm working range. Its highest listed setting is 90 cm. This is a meaningful limit rather than a suggestion: if you have measured or professionally confirmed a need for a setting above 90 cm, the Super Micro does not satisfy it. The “pole advisor” on the manufacturer page is not a substitute for checking your actual grip height on level ground and the way you intend to use the staff.

LEKI lists the collapsed dimension as 46 cm and rounds it to 18 inches in the feature copy. That compact catalog dimension is the central carrying distinction from the LEGEND BLACK CARBON, which is listed at 63 cm packed but has a higher 120 cm maximum. The two are not interchangeable by material or handle alone: Super Micro has an aluminum shaft and Super Lock twist mechanism; Legend has a carbon shaft and Speed Lock external lever. Check the actual pack opening against the staff rather than assuming a nominal 46 cm pole will clear a 46 cm case or compartment.

The specification table identifies three sections of HTS 6.5 aluminum, Super Lock, a carbide Flex Tip and the Aergomed strap. The page's narrative calls the lock a twist-lock system, and the FAQ describes LEKI Superlock poles as twist-to-lock systems with internal expanders. This supports the twist-lock classification without transferring instructions from a different mechanism. The inspected U.S. page does not state a per-staff product weight. A 907 g field in the variant feed has no product-weight basis, so it is not reported as the pole's weight.

What the Aergomed handle and small basket do not prove

LEKI names the grip Aergomed and says its shape supports different holding positions, but the examined U.S. page does not identify its contact material as cork, EVA foam or rubber. This review keeps the grip material unknown. Neither a product-page comfort statement nor the handle's appearance establishes how it will feel for a particular hand, with gloves or over a long walk.

The page describes a Micro Basket and a rubber walking tip, and it specifies the Flex Tip with a carbide spike. It does not make the supplied snow-basket package explicit. The FAQ says small Micro baskets suit hard ground while larger Snowflake or Big Mountain baskets are for softer surfaces such as snow. A Micro label, compatible replacement basket or accessory tile should not be mistaken for a snow basket included with this SKU. If the planned route needs snow baskets, get a clear package confirmation or choose a model whose exact configuration documents them.

The product description supports natural-surface and indoor or hard-surface tip options, but it does not establish a rated body-weight load, an integrated shock mechanism, or a carrying case. Do not infer a certified support capacity from the “cane” category name. Ask LEKI for its instructions and a suitable product rating if weight-bearing support is an essential requirement.

Choose it for a short, specific use case

Within this reviewed library, the Super Micro is the most compact documented telescoping twist-lock staff: the other twist choice, LEKI's VOYAGER, is a pair with a much longer 110–145 cm range and a 65 cm listed packed length. That comparison identifies a real product difference, not an overall winner. If your purchase must be a pair, the Super Micro fails the quantity requirement regardless of its short pack size. If you want an adjustable staff for a setting from 46 to 90 cm, its aluminum construction and named twist mechanism are useful points to verify against your own fit and handling needs.

It should not be stretched into a general-purpose substitute for a longer trekking pole. It ends at 90 cm, has no documented per-pole mass in the examined evidence, and leaves both grip material and package-level basket inclusion unresolved. Before choosing it, check the setting you need, compare the 46 cm published dimension with your bag, confirm one-staff quantity, and inspect the exact package for its Micro basket, carbide tip and rubber walking tip.
